Baby Jack
I can't believe that it's been years since I posted! I suck at keeping up with these things. So in the past year, I have welcomed a new nephew into my family (first one on my side of the family) and I'm almost 1/3 of the way through his first present from his favorite aunt, Ali! I had to make sure he knew it was from me... so he's getting skulls! I used a pattern found here and followed it exactly. If you want your skulls to look more like the ones featured on her blanket, you need to reverse the colors on the chart after you knit the "teeth".

knitting woes and blissful moments
so my fingerless mitts look a bit crazy in the ribbing, but I am finally beginning to get the hang of it. I'm feeling a lot better about knitting in the round between the mitts that I'm working on and the hat that I started. Tonight or tomorrow I am going to try and add a new color to the hat.
I'm nervous, but feel like it won't be too horrible
